New description:
With mutt 1.5.20, implicit_autoview worked to cause lynx to be invoked
when a text/html message was encountered. This became broken in 1.5.21,
even though the man page says:
implicit_autoview
Type: boolean
Default: no
If set to yes, mutt will look for a mailcap entry with
the copiousoutput flag set for __every__ MIME attachment it
doesn't have an internal viewer defined for. If such
an entry is found, mutt will use the viewer defined in
that entry to convert the body part to text form.
Note that the word "every" is underlined in the man page for emphasis.
I'm not sure if this is a bug in mutt or the man page.

Comment:
I've attached a patch which restores $implicit_autoview to its old
behavior, while still supporting the behaviour requested in #3426.
If $implicit_autoview is set and there is a matching mailcap entry with
the `copiousoutput` flag, it will be used rather than mutt's internal
handler. But any text/* parts without a matching mailcap entry will be
displayed as in their raw form.
