mutt won't connect to smtp-mail.outlook.com when smtp_url is set as
follows:
set smtp_url="smtp://[email protected]:XXXXXXXXX@smtp-
mail.outlook.com:587/"
is it the "@" in the username that causes the problem? the server returns
"SASL Authentication failed". it should be noted that mutt connects fine
using msmtp. please let me know if there is any other information i can
supply.
