I don't see a problem with the patches, however I'm still unable to
duplicate this problem. It looks like an off-by-one error in including
the reply, but there's a lot of code involved there, and a lot of
different paths.
Would you mind compiling a vanilla 1.5.23 release tarball, and then run it
with "-n -F /dev/null" and see if the problem still occurs?
