#3750: Connecting to gmail mailbox with default email address prevents sending
via
SMTP

When I change my mailbox to
imaps://[email protected]@imap.gmail.com:993' and then try to send an
email with SMTP, the message will never send successfully.
However, if I change the mailbox I connect to to
imaps://[email protected]@imap.gmail.com:993', and then try to
send, it succeeds.
I've attached logfiles showing a non-working session, and a working
session. I cannot understand why the SMTP session does not work, and I
believe this is a defect.
Note: This behaviour only started within the last couple of months, and
was not a result of me changing my config files (I have not touched my
local config files until today, when I had time to come up with the
solution)
