OK you are right, it indeed can use just "cat",
but why can't it use the readline library,
that way we could detect via tab expansion
etc. if what we type will work, before we hit RET.
I want it to work just like it does from the bash shell
for typing the first item on the line.
You already have TAB working for filename expansion, it should also work
for command name expansion.
