Thanks, I have a few more patches to go, and after that the metrics
should be much lower.

Right now, I'm still iterating the patches, using a Mercurial Queue on
my machine.  As soon as I've completed the patch set, and assuming there
are no objections, I do intend to push this up to our public Mercurial
repos, which is mirrored on BitBucket.

Perhaps you could elaborate about what you're thinking about?
