Sorry but this is working for me. I took your sample muttrc, changed the
folder to point to my imap server, and the threads are being collapsed.
Have you tried it using 'mutt -n' to make sure the system muttrc isn't
doing something funny?
Also, just to confirm that you are using 1.6.0. I made a few changes
separating macro and keyboard buffering between 1.5.24 and 1.6.0. If you
are using an earlier version of mutt and are being prompted for a
certificate, it might goof things up.
