This series looks good.  I didn't realize the magic inside message was
only used for closing, and that the context was always readily available
in those places.

If you're going to submit a revised openmsg patch soon, I'll wait to
push this series since it depends on that.  But if you need more time to
revise that patch, let me know and I'll just go ahead and push this with
the needed adjustments.
