Hi,
Sorry for the delay. I confirm:
- Yes, the attachments that cause this are basically a single HTML line of
130 to 150 kB (being machine-generated, presumably nobody ever felt any
need to insert line breaks, or else some post-optimizer is removing them
all)
- Yes! applying your patch to 1.7.1 fixes the problem, awesome. No side
effect that I can see, I just get HTML displayed as text which was what I
expected.
- the "color body default default ." has been in my .muttrc since . . . I
don't know. I started using mutt in 1995 or 1996 ("Hey Lorens come look
there's this new program that's way better than ELM!"), but I probably
didn't worry about colors immediately. I think I took a heavily customized
file that produced colors I liked and pared it down, but since it was some
twenty years ago I'll freely admit that I don't remember. Since I also
have "color normal default default", I've commented the line.
