I don't fully agree here.  Our use-case of sending update information to
customers should not be that rare.  Being able to sign those unattended
mails is important to mitigate chain supply attacks.

OTOH, I doubt that many recipients will actually check the signatures
:-(.  According to best practices for critical infrastructure
organisations (KRITIS) they should check the integrity and origin of
software updates.
