Hello, Alejandro Colomar via Mutt-dev (2026/01/05 14:17 +0100): > For a starter, I'd love to remove IMAP support, as that belongs in a > separate tool (mbsync(1)). I'd really miss IMAP support. For a long time I used fetchmail & procmail, but that resulted in me actually not reading the e-mails that got put in mailboxes different from my spoolfile. Withmy current workflow, consisting in going over eachemail of my different mailboxes through IMAP, kind of every email has a chance to get my attention. So it's a bit like when I read e-mails frommy phone, but more comfortable. I, too, have a few things I'd like to see implemented, with enough interest in them to be their implementor, if nobody else stands up. By the way I am blind and I know many other blind programmers love Mutt. So they will strongly want to keep it alive, just because it's even harder for them to pick a new MUA than for others (they have less possible choices). Some of them are wonderful programmers, but I don't know how many of them would be willing to get involved. If a call is sent out to mutt-users I'll happily transfer it to the BRLTTY mailing list where those blind hackers are. Seb.
