Here's something I would like to see in a future version. Posting to the
list to curb the inflation of online accounts.

Right now, there are two query_command configuration variables,
mime_type_query_command and query_command. The second one should really
be renamed address_query_command to describe its purpose more clearly.
This of course would be a breaking change, so I'm not feeling too
strongly about it. Maybe a 3.0 item.

The context is that at some point there might be further query options.

One option I would absolutely love to see included is a query for S/MIME
certificates, similar to query_command for address lookup. It would
search a directory for S/MIME certificates for all recipients where no
cert is available in the local keybox, and present them for selection
with an accept once/permanently choice (discard after, or import into
user keybox with gpgme API or gpgsm --import).

I have a script that does this, but no mutt integration.

Looking at recent list postings, it seems that I'm probably not the only
one who thinks S/MIME support could do with some improvements :)
