I've never known for sure, and thus I've always assumed the worst case. Whenever I update the file, I delete the attachment, and attach it again, just in case. And I also make sure to not touch the file until it is sent, just to not confuse mutt(1). Have a lovely day! Alex > I'd guess it is the former.
