I see this as an old bug in new clothes. There was the bug with
the cursor bar jumping around when a new mail arrived (difficult
to reproduce, still have not reproduced reliably, sorry Thomas);
I've upgraded to the version that corrected that bug, and since
then I have this bug (which IMO is worse) in AFAICS similar
circumstances.
But pepole not using xbuffy will never know... might there be
some bizarre correlation with xbuffy?
