Hi, folks --
I have noticed some interesting behavior with the PGP passphrase timeout,
controlled by pgp_timeout (which I have set to 9999, the max value).
That works out to about 2.75 hours, and that seems to be about how long
it takes before I have to enter my passphrase again, though I haven't
been paying close attention (it's certainly not "every time" like it used
to be :-)
Our server was just rebooted this weekend, and something flaked out with
it clock; it thought that it was some 34 hours fast. I didn't realize
this until I had been sending email for a while, and my passphrase was
re-cached. Interestingly enough, however, I have not had to enter my
passphrase this morning even though I've been on for hours (just in case
I actually *did* enter it right of the bat but forgot).
Is mutt looking forward to a previously-set time, or is it actually
counting down a timer? It seems that my passphrase will be cached for
some 37 hours or so :-)
:-D
