... why would you want to edit the headers on your surrounding mail
message when you forward something?  Wouldn't you instead want to edit
the headers of the message you're forwarding?  If that's the case, then
look into $nomime_fwd and maybe $*weed* and/or $*prune* to put the
forwarded message into the body of your new email and get all of the
headers with it for you to edit.
