I have already done something similar, I have an IMAP4 account at
mailandnews.com, however there are times when having your mail kept at
the place where you have a proper subscribed-to ISP is better.

I have been using (and reporting back on) mutt's IMAP4 facilities as
well as advocating the maintenance of POP3 supoort in mutt you know.
