Multiple mailboxes

Hi list!

How would I be able to do a message-limit in multiple mailboxes ?

When I'm searching for all mail from someone, for instance, it could be in
multiple boxes .. Currently I would do a limit ~f <mailaddy> in all possible
boxes I could think of, but how can I make mutt search through multiple boxes
?
