Here is how I did it with mutt.
## mutt.headers 1.29.00
## Syntax: unignore <headline_prefix>
ignore *
unignore date subject to cc
unignore x-mailer: x-newsreader: x-mailing-list:
unignore posted-to:
On Sat, Sep 09, 2000 at 09:46:36AM +0530, Abhijit Menon-Sen muttered:
| i recently upgraded from mutt 1.0pre* to 1.2.5, and now my From address is
| always rewritten from "foo@bar (Foo Bar)" to "Foo Bar <foo@bar>" (whether i set
| it with my_hdr from, set from=, edit it at the send menu with esc-f, edit the
| from header in $EDITOR, etc).
|
| can i stop this from happening? i want the my_hdr from value to be left as is.
| i can't find anything about this in the faq or the mailing list archives.
|
| please Cc replies to me, since i'm not subscribed to mutt-users.
