I downloaded it and it works without any problem here (FreeBSD 4.5-RC, Mutt 1.3.25i). Have you compiled mutt youself? Maybe you should try the port from ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/packages/mail/mutt-devel-1.3.25_2.tgz.
