That's because the folder hook sees the command
"push <enter-command>unset maildir_trash<enter>"
so the push command sees the two arguments
<enter-command>unset
and
maildir_trash<enter>
The solution is to quote the argument to push. I think this will work,
but I haven't tested it.
folder-hook !Trash 'push "<enter-command>unset maildir_trash<enter>"'
