I learned this lesson only recently; you have to specify global
send-hook, as well. Something like this:
send-hook . 'my_hdr From: 1st address <1st@address>'
send-hook blah 'my_hdr From: Malcolm Herbert <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Works here, at least.
