I upgraded my mutt from 1.2.5 to 1.4i and now when I do imap-fetch-mail it says "Fetching message..." but doesn't retrieve messages. This worked before I upgraded. I'm on a Redhat 7.2 system and used this SRPM:
$ rpm -qi mutt Name : mutt Relocations: (not relocateable) Version : 1.4i Vendor: Mutt-RPM-List <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Release : 1.cfp.rhl7 Build Date: Wed 29 May 2002 08:50:49 PM EDT Install date: Wed 18 Sep 2002 05:47:15 PM EDT Build Host: rathann.rangers.eu.org Group : Applications/Internet Source RPM: mutt-1.4i-1.cfp.rhl7.src.rpm Size : 3738148 License: GPL Packager : Dominik Mierzejewski <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> URL : http://www.mutt.org/ Summary : The Mutt Mail User Agent Description : Mutt is a small but very powerful full-screen Unix mail client. Features include MIME, POP3, multiple mailbox formats, colour, message threading, scoring, and bindable keys. This is the International version of mutt *with* PGP support. Mutt was compiled against ncurses and the following options were enabled: --enable-pop POP3 support --enable-imap IMAP support Set group ID - that way mutt should work with the default permissions on /var/spool/mail --enable-compressed compressed folder support - gzip and bzip2. full NLS support - all message catalogs are installed. The following patches were applied: - patch to add compressed folder settings to /etc/Muttrc - compressed folder patch from Roland Rosenfeld <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> A sample muttrc with colors enabled is supplied in /usr/share/doc/mutt-1.4i/samples The only way to get new messages is to exit and restart mutt. My squirrelmail still works fine with my imap account. Any ideas? Thanks, -- Dave
