In your .muttrc: macro index \cr 'T~O\n;NT~N\n;N;t' Now ctrl-R will mark all messages as read unless, of course, you've rebound T, N, ;, or t in the index. To avoid rebinding problems, change those characters into their apprpriate, angele-bracket-enclosed functions. This task is left as an exercise for the reader. } Romildo --Greg
