Well, that depends on your definition of "not needed" - it's quite
useful if you use a lot of hooks! :)

Well, pgp_sign_as is for specifying which gpg key you want to use if
you have multiple valid ones. pgp_replyencrypt is somewhat different
than pgp signing (obviously).
