1.5.17 - threads shown with wierd characters.

Hello,

I'm using mutt 1.5.15 and the threads are shown with└─>

now, I compiled the pristine source of mutt 1.5.17 and the threads are
shown with �~T~T�~T~@>

Any suggestions on how to fix this? I didn't use any special commands
with configure (just the ./configure and make)
