You can use mutt's aliases to define groups.
Usage: alias key address [ , address, ... ]
alias alice [EMAIL PROTECTED]
alias bob [EMAIL PROTECTED]
alias people alice, bob, [EMAIL PROTECTED], john doe <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
