that's all indicative of an old version. But note that: ~/src/mutt $ mutt -v is NOT the same as ~/src/mutt $ ./mutt -v (. is not normally in your path). So if you pulled, forgot to up -C HEAD, and make installed you will still be seeing that version even after up -C HEAD, make.
