Wouldn't it be easier to just print out a list of mailboxes?
a) how do you use it in muttrc (without awk, maybe, or most
certainly I'm being dense)?
mailboxes = `mutt-mb ~/Mail`
would be the easiest, imho.
b) Mutt might be a tiny bit faster as you only issue 1 command.
