For GNU Screen when scrolling through history (I think) I set up something like this on scrollback, (n/2)-1. In other words, n = "number of lines on the screen" divided by 2 is what is default. I then subtract one line, so this gives me a line at the top or bottom of the page which I can use for reference and lets me know if I've pressed pgup/pgdown too many times or an anomaly has occurred and I skipped over a message or other data. Can (n/2)-1 equation or similar equation be used for pager_context? (I believe I'm looking at the correct configuration variable.) -- Roger http://rogerx.freeshell.org/
