Hi,

I had this problem and I solved it by adding the vk.pgp_verbose_mime
patch written by Vineet Kumar (http://www.doorstop.net/projects).
On Debian distribution, it is included in the package. For Gentoo, I
wrote an ebuild for recent Mutt versions.
This patch has never been included in the Mutt code, therefore I tried
to submit it to Mutt dev few months ago (without any result :\)
Once you patch Mutt, you only need to add the following lines to your
.muttrc:
set pgp_mime_signature_filename="signature.asc"
set pgp_mime_signature_description="Digital signature"

Hope this helps you,

JC
