dear mutt users,

after using mutt for many years and after reading the manual
several times, I am still getting stuck with a few questions/
problems concerning attachments:

   1. depending on some circumstances, I would like to
decide on the fly whether I would like to view an
attachment in a dedicated viewer, e.g., firefox
for an html-file, or in a text representation, e.g.,
html2text. why? well, when reading mail on a remote
machine, the connection might be too slow for invoking
the viwer (e.g., firefox), but sometimes it is that
important that it has to be this way.

        any chance for this?

   2. when having an auto_view entry and a converter, e.g.,
pdftotext and the copiousoutput flag in the mailcap file,
a forward of that attachment is also forwarded in an inline
text representation. this, however, is useless, at least
        for pdf files...

so, how can I invoke the attachment in-line text converted
and still saving the attchment as an attachment when
        forwarding it?

any help is highly appreciated!

thanks, ciao, ralf
