Here is a sequence of screenshots showing what happens when I edit a
message that is not the last message in a thread / sub-thread:

Initial state:

   5 F Sep 05 To abcdef ( 20K) └─┬─>
   6 F Sep 06 To abcdef (0.1K) │ └─>
   7 F Aug 29 To Abcdefgh Xyz (1.1K) └─>

Action: Cursor on 5, I choose to edit

Result:

   5 DF Sep 05 To abcdef ( 20K) └─┬─>
   6 F Sep 06 To abcdef (0.1K) │ ├─>
   7 N F Sep 05 To abcdef       ( 20K)   │ └=>
   8 F Aug 29 To Abcdefgh Xyz (1.1K) └─>

Action: Cursor still on 5, I choose to sync mailbox

Result:

   5 N F Sep 05 To abcdef ( 20K) └─┬─>
   6 F Sep 06 To abcdef (0.1K) │ └─>
   7 F Aug 29 To Abcdefgh Xyz (1.1K) └─>

Problem: Cursor moves to 6! (even with resolve=no)

This movement does not occur if the edited message is the last message in
a thread / sub-thread. The cursor stays on the edited version of the
message.

I would expect the cursor to stay put on 5 in the above scenario as well.
Why does it move forward 1 step? Is this a bug or a feature?

Thanks,
Mandar.

ps: Not sure if this is more appropriate for the developers mailing
list. Please advise if I should post this problem there.
