Maybe scoring can help here? I haven't yet dug into scores but I'd think
it may be possible to assign a high score to personal email and a lower
score to others, and then sort on score.

An alternative approach, purely to assist in finding the right email,
may be akin to this: I colour threads and messages _from_ me to stand
out:

  color index white default  "(~P !~D) | (~v ~(~P !~D))"

Obviously, this is more apt to folders of mailing lists; it shows me the
threads in which I have taken part. But it would be easy to adapt that
to colour email _to_ you for your attention.
