I was looking
for something even better: having the results presented in the same
window.
The results are presented in the current terminal/window.
It's only in screen so that I can detach from it and go back to mutt if I want.
Usually I don't.
That leave me free to pull up those exact live results (i.e. reattach to
screen) in another window if I want to cross reference.
I often fire things up in screen so that I am free to detach. For example, this
message itself is being edited in screen. But I have not detached; it is
seamless, and is _exactly_ like replying directly in mutt without screen. I'm
in the same terminal, and when I finish and send the message I'll be back in
mutt exactly as normal. But _because_ it is (seamlessly) in screen, I _can_
detach if I discover that this message requires extended work.
