Thank you for having mentioned this. I have been adding X-Label headers for years (via procmail, for many but not all incoming emails), mostly using them for "~y" in manually typed index limits and for a few save-hooks, but I never thought of getting them displayed in the index. My index_format has now been extended by "%* %?y? %y?": If there is an X-Label, it will be shown right-justified (prepended with two spaces for visual separation), and if there is no X-Label, the index row will look just like before.
