Hello, another question: how do I find the key id in mutt's (gpgme's?) information for signed mails? For my previous mail mutt shows me this:
> [-- Begin signature information --] > Good signature from: > 1.2.840.113549.1.9.1=#726F626572742E6A61657363686B654068752D6265726C696E2E6465,CN=Robert > Jaeschke,2.5.4.42=#526F62657274,2.5.4.4=#4A61657363686B65,2.5.4.97=#474F5644452B4245,O=Humboldt-Universitaet > zu Berlin,ST=Berlin,C=DE > aka: <[email protected]> > created: Wed Jul 1 10:36:10 2026 > [-- End signature information --] If I check that mail's signature manually using gpgsm,¹ I get the following output: > gpgsm: Signature made 2026-07-01 08:36:10 UTC > gpgsm: using rsa2048 key > E476ADAA614A7E1CFDC3D5D17F378D998076E616 > gpgsm: Good signature from "/CN=Robert Jaeschke/O=Humboldt-Universitaet zu > Berlin/ST=Berlin/C=DE/[email protected]/GN=Robert/SN=Jaeschke/2.5.4.97=GOVDE+BE" > gpgsm: aka "[email protected]" This output includes the key id which I can then use to get more information about the key.² How can I see the id of a key used to sign a message in mutt? Best regards, Robert ¹ as described here: https://github.com/neomutt/neomutt/issues/3567 ² e.g., with gpgsm --list-keys E476ADAA614A7E1CFDC3D5D17F378D998076E616
