Hello Les, According to today's usage statistic, most of all users use MSIE. Mozilla/X11 is ranked 11th. Second, number of .zip files downloaded is far more bigger than .tar.gz ones. Because there are so many users that use Windows platform, I think it should not be a problem if I wrote the GUI in Windows.
But after all, the main reason why the GUI is written in Windows is, I don't know Swing programming :).
