[MVC-Programmers] Lab 0 - Introduction

My name is Dennis Stevens.  I am a developer/project manager for my own consulting company.  I’m currently involved a java development project using struts.  This is my second struts project.  I’ve been a java certified programmer since 1999 (?).  I’ve been involved in development since 1985 starting with RPG, C++, Paradox, Perl, PowerBuilder, Notes and now Java.  My first web development experience was about 10 years ago.  I want to improve my understanding of how to use struts effectively.  I believe that I’ve been able to brute force some things or just settle for a less than optimal solution in some cases because I don’t have the knowledge to fully benefit from the struts package.  I am married with two kids and coach my son’s baseball team.  My son also plays basketball and my daughter is on a competitive gymnastics team.  I’m also training for a half  iron man triathlon in May which I will do very slowly and hope I finish.     Dennis Stevens www.knowledgeinprocess.com
