I tried it. It emailed me after I typed in my information. I
did run into one error; I think the State field (or one of them) is accepting
more characters than it should and it will error when you submit the sign-up
form.
Anyway, I did reply with a 'JOIN' as the first word on the line, and it
came back with a message saying registration approved. But when I sign in,
I get a 403 Forbidden screen on the browser.
I need the forum as I've got problems now with TLD's, JAR's, and the C,
FMT, won't recognize the jstl library. Bringing up Tomcat, I get a SEVERE:
Parse Error at line 6 column 19: Document is invalid: no grammar
found. org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Document is invalid: no grammar found.
error.
I know we didn't cover this too well in class.
Thanks!

>>> One feature of bP is membership management
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]-->I am testing the e-mail
validation of upgrade of guest level membership, to validated level, that
allows you to see more of the web site. To get validated, the bP e-mails you,
and if the replied message matches the e-mail, you are validated. I have made
a few changes in the code, and … had to remove all the registered users from
bB web site. Would you please help me test registration?
You have to join to baseBeans.com, and you should receive
the e-mail. If you get a 2nd e-mail, you are validated, and are no
longer a guest level, but validated, and can view form messages, cheet sheet,
etc. This should take only a few minutes. If you have
problems joining (or if it works) please, please e-mail me!!! I will fix it
and re-release it.
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]-->
(Most web apps need e-mail approval). It used to break on
encoding or if the e-mail case did does not match the case you register-replay
with. Note that the mail list, and forums are 2 different things. Again,
please help me perfect it, it should work.

ps:
http://basicPortal.com/do/channelsPg
lists some forums. (C#, Struts, Flash, and soon more) You can see display tag
pagination with calendar tag working, and here is the released
source:
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/basicportal/bPproj/bP/WEB-INF/pgs/forums/ArticleLst.jsp
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]-->
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]-->You should be able to
scroll down and “select” a _javascript_ pop up calendar, and go back a few days
to older messages, all with pagination on that date. Let me know if you
have questions. (note: Display tag is my favorite tag
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]-->
Next release of bP should have a shopping cart (w/ credit
cards ) working, here is the non-released code: http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/basicportal/bPproj/src/war/com/bP/shoppingC/
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]-->
So soon, bP will have tested membership, CMS, forums and
shopping cart, feedback, etc. things that 80% of sites need; all based on
KISS/best practice Struts; making it easy to customize for your needs.
(Jasic adds IDE, SQL DB, auto bean generator, container,
test tool, report tool, etc. to bP)
