Training plan also includes setting up redundancy like clusters/NLB etc., • Handle Infrastructure issues and escalations from service operation team. • Creation of cluster farms to meet the HA/DR strategy • Troubleshooting OS, Network and Hardware related issues • Work with MSIT and Provide inputs on Storage Solution (Storage Area Network /DMX/DAS) • Work with upstream teams (DCOPS/GNOC/SUOPS etc) on Infrastructure requests related to server procurement, hardware changes (RAM/Motherboard/Storage), IP changes (DNS/WINS/Static IP),storage expansion and server rename/decommission. • Create knowledge base articles for alerts and issues for Service operation team to resolve issue without escalating to next layer. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: (absolute minimums, will not talk to anyone without these items. Typically the non-subjective items i.e. 3+ years C++ development. - BSc in Computer Science or similar Engineering degree - Minimum 5 - 8 years related experience on handling Lab/Data Center - Experience working in 24x7 environment and Data center operation support. - In-depth knowledge of OS and Network layers - Experience working with Hyper-V for VM creation and Host capacity planning. - In-depth knowledge of storage technology (SAN/SSD/DAS etc) - Outstanding customer service/focus skills - Demonstrated ability in handling complex technical issues and providing timely solutions. - Demonstrated ability to define and follow best practices and processes. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Understanding of multi-tiered application technology is value add. - Passion for support PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (will make a candidate more preferable – and/or subjective items such as, ‘excellent communication skills’, collaborative, leader, etc etc etc. these items can also be an introduction above the qualifications such as, “Our candidate will have excellent communication skills, leadership, etc…†- Experience in Designing and Implementing Infrastructure for large BI solution - Understanding of cloud based hosting model Disclaimer: The sender of this email is registered with naukri.com as Anlage Infotech (I) Pvt.
