Juice it up! Have a Juicy day!!! :)

In the health battle of juices vs fizzy drinks, juices win hands
     down. BT tells you why...

When you return home after a tiring day at work and reach out for a drink in your refrigerator, chances are that you may spend a minute trying to decide between those attractive fizzy drinks lined up and the fruit juices. If you have chosen the juice, well, there’s reason to rejoice. But, if you have chosen the latter, here’s evidence of why you have made the wrong decision. According to a recent study, cutting down on soft drinks reduces the risk of a stroke by eight per cent and coronary heart disease by almost five per cent. “Our findings suggest that reducing sugar sweetened beverages and sugar consumption may be an important dietary strategy to lower blood pressure and further reduce other blood pressure related diseases,” reveals Liwei Chen, the lead author of the study. On the other hand, fruit juices are a smart addition to any well balanced diet, providing vitamins and minerals. Fresh fruit juice is also a convenient way for adults and children to help reach the recommended number of daily servings of fruits and vegetables. Just one glass of fresh fruit juice provides a full serving of fruit. You just need to know which juice to choose to treat your specific health problem. When it comes to juices versus fizzy drinks, juices win the health battle hands down. Not only do they beat fizzy drinks in the refreshment quotient, but they also have several health benefits that fizzy drinks can never match up to. What’s more, each juice has it’s own advantages.
*APPLE JUICE:
*Apple juice is recommended for people suffering from obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, liver and kidney diseases and gout. *BEET JUICE: *Is great for constipation, anaemia and heart diseases. It’s a body cleanser and lowers blood pressure. You can take it in small doses or mix it with carrot juice. Keep beet root juice in the refrigerator for a few hours before drinking.
*CUCUMBER JUICE:
*Normalises blood pressure and is good for your teeth, gums, nails and hair. It also helps improve memory. *TOMATO JUICE: *If you are on a diet, then tomato juice is what you should have. It strengthens your immune system and contains natural antioxidants, vitamins A and C.
*CARROT JUICE:
*Improves vision, strengthens your body and helps you to recover from severe diseases. It heals stomach ulcers and helps with anaemia, cancer and tuberculosis. *ORANGE JUICE: *The richest source of vitamin C, orange juice strengthens the immune system, reduces heart-disease-related inflammation. It also increases the growth and repair of skin and blood cells.

FRUITY IS GOOD: Fruit juices are a smart addition to your diet, providing vitamins and minerals and score much higher on health cards in comparison with any fizzy drink
