I've not really looked at the rest of your email...but I suspect this is a 
file extension issue. The MVPMCs filebrowser only shows things with a 
known extension. Does this other file you have have the same extension as 
that one? The matching may be case sensitive (I'm not sure), so make sure 
the extension is all lowercase too.
