Ok, I finally had some time, and my laptop available so I could do what 
needed to be done.  I have placed a file here:
http://users.adelphia.net/~mark.paulus/video4linux/livetv.log.tgz
It contains 2 log files, one from running mvpmc -M, and one from
mythtv with "-v all,nofile".

Let me know if you need more.
(The .tgz is too big for this list, even gzipped)
