Yes, you're right - the latest seem to have a check against the protocol.
The dongle put out for commercial skip testing has working scheduling,
so you can try that - however that has broken live TV.
Can one of the developers comment on the checking?
It seem like the check is too strict as the scheduling worked ok for
my 0.20version.

0.3.1 doesn't work with myth 0.20 for scheduling however the daily builds
do.
I suggest you try that. It's easy enough to flip between them.
