No rush for me.   I am fairly new to using mclient.   I guess I was assuming 
that the aim was to replicate the Slimp device as close as possible (like 
SoftSqueeze), but that may be an incorrect assumption and there may of 
course be hardware limitations.

I personally have not used the Replay button (|<) for repeat modes so I 
guess my vote would be to reassign it to what it is designed for and use << 
for fast rewind.   But I am not a big user so other views may well differ.
