I think it probably depends on whether you're running any remote front 
ends. In my case I wasn't previously as I have a combined front and 
back end box (now with the MediaMVP as a second front end in the 
bedroom).

As a result I came up against one or two Myth configuration 
requirements that aren't strictly related to mvpmc, such as not using 
the loopback address in the backend IP address configuration.

If I get some spare time at some point, I might put everything into a 
step-by-step setup document (I know several exist, but none that I've 
seen suggest that you might need to carry out some of the back end 
configuration activities that I did).
