It took me a couple days to go through all my software and make sure I
would not have problems with other programs running perl 5.8.8 (It's
amazing how much stuff has perl dependencies!) but last night I made the
bold move and installed 5.8.8.

I went into teenager-mode with the remote for about 2 hours (all my
aging thumbs can take), trying my darndest to get slimserver to crash,
and it is now dead stable. I did see a couple of times the message
"having trouble playing xyz" or something, which may be what was
happening when it crashed before. Just a guess, though.

I would like to say, for the record, that in the 7 months or so I've
been using mvpmc, the changes you've made to mclient have been nothing
short of stupendous. I absolutely love this module! And the best part
is it is more functional than the squeezebox, and the mvp costs a third
of the price. I really appreciate the work that you have done on this,
and continue to do. And also, of course, I appreciate the help!
