Hi... I have come up with my first pass at the MClient (a slimserver client that runs on the mvpmc box) album cover art browser. While in MClient, hitting the menu button pops up a new Local Menu widget allowing you to select either Browsing by album covers or Controlling another slimserver client. That second feature is just a stub for now. Pressing OK while Browsing is hilighted should pull 6 album covers from slimserver (providing you have slimserver set up correctly for this sort of stuff).** I am only planning to support JPG images so keep that in mind when setting up slimserver. You should be able to move up/down/left/righ withing the 6 album covers and the index bar at the bottom of the screen. However, while the index bar is hilighted, moving left or right will load up the next 6 album covers. If there are no covers for a particular album (or if the image isn't a JPG) a text widget is used with the first 20 letters of the album's name.

I am looking for feed back and error reports from anyone who might be kind enough to take the time and try it. ...thanks **Setting up your slimserver with images isn't hard. Many people have done it and there are packages to be had to get images from the web. Either google for it or go to slimdevices.com to find out more. When done, test the set up by using the browser interface of slimserver.
