If by .VOB files, you mean .VOB files with AC3 audio, then I'm afraid you've just been lucky in finding a file that is in sync. The JIT code at the moment only handles audio which the MVPMC hardware can decode (ie MP2/MP3), it could (and probably will) be expanded to handle AC3, but it certainly doesn't at the moment.
